Single malt Scotch is widely acknowledged as the greatest whisky in the world. The huge variation that exists between regions, distilleries and ages is testament to the complexity and astonishing nature of the product.
We have personally selected a range of whiskies that we feel is fully representative of the best that Scotland has to offer. The range is taken from our friends at the incredibly highly rated independent bottler Master of Malt, whose scores in the greatly acclaimed 'Whisky Bible' by Jim Murray are frankly astonishing.
This is a good a glass as you could ever have. Stunning from first nosing to final swallow. It has that quality among great malts of possessing a completely different personality when its fires are softened with a small (very small) amount of (non-chilled) water. I like it straight or dampened. I regret drinking it enormously for now I am spoiled, completely spoiled. The [Master of Malt] 19 Year Old Tomatin is now officially my favourite whisky!
